BookNation Digital Literacy & Learning Initiative
The rapid expansion of digital technology has fundamentally changed how people access information, read, learn, communicate, work and participate in society. Digital literacy is therefore no longer simply the ability to operate a computer or smartphone. It includes the ability to access, read, understand, evaluate, learn from, apply, create and responsibly share information through digital technologies. BookNation, as a membership-based, volunteer-driven and collaborative Transformational Knowledge Ecosystem, desires to contribute to Nigeria's digital-literacy agenda by bringing its distinctive strength in books, reading, learning and transformational knowledge into the digital environment.
